CANNOT VIEW PICS SENT TO LG RENOIR KC910 PHONE.

Normally you'll need Vodafone to send you both the MMS and Internet connection settings. Then once received an save take your battery out of the handset without switching it off, remove your SIM for 10 seconds. Put it back together and send yourself a MMS and you should now be fully set up.

Alternatively here are Vodafone's settings:

Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP (proxy) address: 212.183.137.12
Session mode: Permanent
Port number: 9201
MMS Message (Relay) Server URL: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms/

My phone was whith t mobile after unlocking i can not go on internet using my vodafone sim

You will need to change the internet settings on the phone as it will still be looking for the t mobile server, which the vodafone sim won't let it go to.
Normally the easiest way to do this is via the Vodafone website in your country. Once you log in, you should be able to get the correct settings sent to your phone via SMS, which you simply save to the phone. If you can't find it, or access the net, just ring Vodafone Customer Service and they will SMS the correct settings to you.

UK WAP gateway settings
The following table shows basic WAP gateway setup information for the main UK mobile phone operators. The menu options differ between handset manufacturers. Some of the common menu fields explained:Bearer type: There are two types: GSM or GPRS. GSM works by dialling a dedicated WAP dial-up number and should work on any WAP-enabled handset. GPRS is a newer technology, and only works on selected handsets. GPRS is an always-on service that is billed per-kilobyte, and not as GSM, which is billed per-minute. Dial-up number - The telephone number that your WAP browser needs to dial to connect. (Not required for GPRS)
  • GPRS APN - If connecting over GPRS (as opposed to dial-up), you need an Access Point Node address, so the network knows where to direct your request. See our GPRS for full UK GPRS settings
  • Username and password - Note that these are case sensitive, and should be typed in as shown
  • Gateway IP details - WAP works by routing traffic through a Gateway that handles optimising the content efficiently. The address is made up of a series numbers separated by dots. This may also be referred to as the WAP Proxy Server address.
  • Homepage - This is the main page provided by a network operator... The front-door for access to content provided via your network operator
  • Below is the numbers you will need.
  • GSM Dial up Number>+447836 900808
  • GPRS APN>wap.vodafone.co.uk (Contract) pp.vodafone.co.uk (PAYG)
  • Username>[email protected] or web will post the rest

Vodafone live and internet settings

Hi Emma,

Have you tried contacting Vodafone customer services? they can send you a settings from their network very quickly.

By the sound of it, you just need to create a new connection, if you can go to the settings look to make a new one.. call it My isp or something if it asks for username password - leave them blank or type "web" for both username and password. Try connecting to that connection only and the browse vodafone live.

let me know how it goes;

Thanks.

Nas.

Im having trouble configuring my cect p168 to access the internet. im on a vodafone prepay plan and i cannot even access the free vodafone live web page...help? also in regards to the p168 im in a bit of...

For the frame rate you would have to try to recode the video (unencode, re-encode) as several software "codecs" can't handle variable bit rate mp4 files. There are hundreds of software out there that do this, the best ones being paid software. WINFF, WinAVIvdeoConverter, mediacoder, SUPER etc

Without knowing your country/network - we can't help with the settings. Have you tried vodafone's site (e.g. for australia http://wireless.vodafone.com.au/OTAServlet) they have a list of settings for each mobile device the network supports. You could try one of those settings for your phone (if in australia).

Nokia 6300 on T mobile

Hi this is a common problem when changing service providers their are two ways round this one is contact your service provider and they can send you the settings via a text message that will update your phone to correct settings. The other way is try going onto their website and usually their is a link to send the settings to your phones your self.
that link may be some use to you
the other thing to try is use search engine and type in internet settings for vodafone this will then list loads of sites that can tell you how to get the settings sent to your phone ok
let me know if you need further assistance ok
