You will need to post more details for anyone to help you. It sounds like a problem with your refrigeration unit since nothing is getting cold but the "fridge is on", yet "everything has gone off". You need to be specific on what exactly is on or off. If your compressor is running but it's not cooling would be completely different than if the lights inside turn on but nothing else makes noise. Since you didn't give me much to work with and that makes me assume you do not know much about refrigeration I will suggest looking in the back of your freezer for ice buildup. If there is ice covering the area where cold air comes out, it may have just frosted over, you may have lost a fan back there, or there could be something wrong with the defrost cycle. I suggest this because it could be a non-technical solution if it happened to get frost build-up and nothing else actually failed.

Sounds like the cold control has stuck . Unplug the two wires from the cold control and plug them together. Turn one wire over and plug it into the other. away from the cold control.
If it runs then that cold control is the problem.
the thermostat isn't cycling because it's to cold in the garrage, the machine isn't calling for cold air because the garrage is so cold so the fridge isn't gonna run until the temperature starts to get warm and then the fridge will start again to keep it cold.put some heat in the garrage and it will run fine
IN MOST CASES THERE IS A FAN THAT SENDS COLD AIR FROM THE FREEZER TO KEEP THE FRIDGE COLD. EITHER YOUR FAN MOTOR HAS GONE BAD OR YOUR THERMOSTAT IN YOUR FRIDGE IS BAD.
assuming fan now working. clean out vents/ drain holes (make sure no ice in bottom of freezer or in fridge unit)i.e. a total defrost.then check door seals all okay(no air leaks) if unit was trying to defrost itself and you reset to colder it will need to reset itself.....
Hi, this problem is going to be with the running thermostat (cold Control). It has gone bad and stays open which in turn will keep the compressor running continually and will cause the fridge to get colder and freeze food. It can normally be located in the control panel inside the fridge (it is the control that has wires, the other is the damper). Locate the thermostat and replace it. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!! Mike
Try removing everything out of your fridge, switch it off and open all doors for 12 hrs. Then close doors and switch it on for another 24 hrs before putting in you stuff. most likely the evaporator is iced up, you need to defrost if fully.
there is a fan in the back of the freezer that pushes air into the fridge side of the fridge it sounds like this has gone out on you. this fan is usually right by the coils in the freezer the only thing that keeps the fridge cold is a little air being pushed over there constantly
Well for whatever reason the fridge compartment is now getting cold air again and its all working fine. Have no idea whats gone on with it but is working again hahaha. The only thing that we did was take the back off the freezer, where it houses the fan motor, the motor wasnt quite straight so I straightened it and now its working. Whether that was the problem to begin with I have no idea.
