Why do I keep getting a C3 error (accompanied by lots of beeps) when I turn on my machine?The C3 error as well as the beeping when you turn on your machine indicates the foot control plug is not fully pushed into the sewing machine. This is related to the motor, and may be that the motor needs new brushes the Tacho (feedback mechanism) is broken, wiring or the motor control board. Most likely for a 6-7 year old washing machine is the brushes.
However, after changing them, you still need to reset the machine

1. Turn off the machine (dial to 0)

3. Turn on the machine on first program
4. Close the door
5. Turn off the machine

This should reset the machine, and if everything is allright, it should work. If it does not work after changing the brushes and resetting it, something else is wrong, most likely the motor control board, or if the motor.

Turn the machine off. Disconnect the white cable on the back of the machine. Turn the machine back on let it come to ready.
Turn the machine back off, plug the feeder back on and turn the machine back on.
The machine seems to forget it has the feeder from time to time.
It has to boot up with it unplugged to reset.

This seems to a hardware problem. Resetting the machine fixes it most of the time.

There are many levels in reset, please try the the next level if the 1st did not fix.

Power Drain:

* Turn OFF the machine, disconnect the power cable from backside of the machine and from wall outlet.
* Press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds.
* Connect the cable and turn ON the machine.


Partial Reset

* Remove the power cable from back side of the machine while its ON.
* Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
* If machine turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.


Semi-Full reset

* Remove the ink cartridges.
* Remove the power cable from back side of the machine while its ON.
* Press and hold "#" and "6" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
* If machine turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
* Insert the ink cartridges.


NVM Reset

* Remove the ink cartridges.
* Remove the power cable from back side of the machine while its ON.
* Press and hold "OK" and "Cancel" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
* If machine turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
* Insert the ink cartridges.
