I could not find that model number on the haier website www.haieramerica.com you can get the manuals and parts list there. you dont need the haier hose however lowes and home depot sell what im guessing is three or four inch hose that you can use say a dryer vent flex hose or alumaflex hose to connect this unit. unless you are going for the looks.

Remove exhaust hose

U need that hose to direct the warm air outside the area to be cooled. If you remove it, the hot exhaust will stay in the room being cooled and negate the cold air being directed into the room.

That is why regular room AC units are mounted on window sill. Cold air in, hot air out.

Can't control my air conditioner with remote controller. What can I ddo?

The first thing to do is change the batteries in the hand-held remote control. Then make sure that you are close enough to the unit and that the receiver's sensor is not dirty or obstructed.

I last week purchased a new haier portable air conditioner. After being installed in the window for just 2 days it is putting out like a white frost from the top of it. What could be causing this problem?...

This frost usually occurs when the exhaust hose is sloped down to much and moisture is trapped in the hose, rather than being exhausted outside. Also, check the air intake filter, as it may need to be cleaned.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Hi I've just purchased a used HPRD12XC5 portable air conditioner. It did not come with Air Intake/Outlet hoses, exhaust adapter or window slider kit. Is there somewhere I can buy these? Thanks -...

Harry. if you purchased it from a brick and mortar store, rather than online. Return it to the store for replacement. Or you can get it from Haier under warranty, with your Proof of Purchase. It's more to it than just the air intake and the exhaust hoses.

You can contact Haier Customer Support at 877-337-3639.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

My portable air conditioner Haier started linking

Hi. Check the drain hose and look for kinks and partial blockage. Even algae can often block these tubes. J.

Installation

This is apparently a new product, and not having provided me with a model number, I was only able to ascertain that this is a dual hose model? If so, then I would assume that since there is no direct correlation between 1 hose and the other, that it probably doesn't matter, since both hoses are utilized for proper operation.
