This was in the manual:
Card too busy. Repeated actions of recording, writing, and deleting will gradually decrease the amount of contiguous free space on the memory card, causing files to be saved in a fragmented state during recording. This message will appear when access to the memory card has slowed down due to such problems. Back up your important files, format the memory card, and then restore your files back onto the card.

ERROR formatting card

If you have a card reader writer that accepts smart media cards then remove from keyboard and format via a computer. It may be fat16 and not fat32 ....a good utility is hp utility storage format tool which is a small file free to use off the internet.lastly because the card is so small you can get these for very little money off eBay.

I am not able to use 4GB Sony SD card in my CTK 5000 Keyboard. It is sensing but I am not able to format the SD Card and flashing 'Card R/W Error'.

It appears that a LOT of devices cannot use cards greater than 2Gb. You will find on page E72 of your user manual that the SD card must be 2Gb or less for this unit.

I have the a Casio Keyboard that has an SD slot, but whenever i put songs on my SD card & then plug it into the keyboard, it says that there is an ERROR . What am i supposed to do . Step by Step . to...

Does it say ERR NO FILE? If so, then read on. The reason you have this error is because you don't have a folder on your sd card named MUSICDAT. Solution:
  1. Insert your sd card into computer
  2. Make folder called MUSICDAT.
  3. Then, transfer all files inside the folder (make sure your songs are in MIDI format).
  4. Safely remove your sd card.
  5. You're ready to put it in you Casio Keyboard!
If you still get the error, take time to read you manual. Read the "using the sd card" part. The folder name might be different for your Casio Keyboard (because mine's a CTK-5000).
...and IF you still get the error, perhaps the songs you meant in your question are MP3 songs (like the ones you play on the iPod)? Then, that's a different topic... :)
Well then, good luck!

The memory card says unformatted card

Refer to your BR manual for procedure to format the card. Formatting the card in a PC just doesn't cut it.

Look in your index in the manual for "formatting" or "card"...etc.

Compactflash reads error

You need to verify that your card is confirmed to work in the MR8 at this site:

http://www.fostexinternational.com/docs/support/MR8_Operation_CF_20071213.pdf

It is OBVIOUS that your card is not acceptable because it is larger than 2GB.

Hello, i wan't to format the compact flash card of my korg d4.The display say:card error#204?

Some cards have a write protect feature. Make sure this is off. You might want to clear the card on a PC and try again.

I think my Micro BR is broken

It is either that you put an incompatible SD card in it. (Believe it or not, many devices will not work with certain SD cards), or the card reader has failed. Try a Scandisk SD card or other popular brand and see if there is any difference in the messages. Otherwise I would say the card reader is faulty.
