I have forgotten my iphone 5 screen lock code?

Unfortunately, there is no way around your passcode on the lock screen. This for your protection. However, your phone is NOT useless and you CAN get into it but you must wipe the device completely and none of your information will remain once this has been done. If you've exhausted all passcode variations and still can't get in, do the following steps to wipe the device:

1.) Plug your phone into your computer.
2.) Open iTunes on your computer (It may open automatically)
3.) CLICK AND HOLD BOTH HOME (Bottom) & POWER (Top) BUTTON until the device shuts off. When it shuts off, release the power button and continue holding the home button until iTunes recognizes the device again.
4.) iTunes will recognize the device as being in DFU mode and will give you the option to Restore the device which again will WIPE everything on the phone. Just click Restore to begin the process.
5.) When this step is complete you will regain access to your device.

*TIP* If you have your phone backed up on iCloud or iTunes you can restore a previous back up file and can regain some of your information.

Android System Recovery

Obvious question is what the tablet had been doing during its' last use.
Was something newly installed, was system or apps updated, etc. ?
Were all the APPs and or system shut down properly ?
Did update or installation recommend restarting system, prior to use ? Were multiple installations / updates performed ?

Your device appears to be in a recovery boot-loop.
As stupid as this may sound ...
Is the power adapter connected ? Let battery charge for at least 30 minutes and try again.
If battery is low, it may not complete the reset. - you should have seen something on the screen, denoting " wipe and reset " procedure and completion - prior to (#1) Rebooting device

Per your post, you have already (#4) wiped the data and instructed the device to reset to factory settings, then (#1) Reboot system.
That is the generally accepted reset method

This problem is not all that uncommon, it generally results when attempting reset, internal boot commands error for what ever reason. ( can not find the factory restore / recovery file set ).

This problem is more common when "fixes ", Specialty " Roots " or "mods" have been installed by the user - making changes to the boot program and commands OR when manufacturer files have been deleted / moved from system access. - Common suggestion is to work backwards through the mod processes and / or attempt to re-install mod or follow the special mod recovery method.

Without having available the proper ROM " flash " update / installation file(s), and you may " brick " the device.
I recommend you go to manufacturer site and check for available ROM files, reset / reinstallation processes ( memory card method ? )

You state the tablet is less than six months old. You may want to contact manufacturer for possible warranty service.

They will most likely ask the referenced obvious questions, to better understand the cause / nature of the device failure and recommend the best immediate possible solution.

This may not be what you seek, I hope it will provide better direction.

Keyboard Not Working: Problem after changing antivirus

I would check and make sure my old antivirus was completely removed from the laptop before going any further after that I would contact customer support for your anti virus and check with them. If it was a no name brand or from a pop up you maybe have just paid for a virus pretending to be an antivirus and in that case you will have to completly wipe your hard drive and re install windows.

Setting timers on blackberry storm

from the Blackberry Storm forums:

"The Recovery process for me was to Wipe the Handheld.

I first conncected by BB Storm to my computer.
Launch Blackberry Desktop Manager
Click on Backup and Restore
Click on Backup to backup the device.

After the backup completes, on the device, go to Options, Security Options, General Settings. Press the "berry" button on the device, select "Wipe Handheld".

There were a couple of options where I could choose the type of wipe I wanted. I chose the one would left my installed applications alone.

When the wipe is complete, connect back to the computer and run Blackberry Desktop Manager and perform the restore operation.

In my case, before I did the restore operation, I checked the timer to see if it was working (it was). After restoring the data, it was still working."

I had the same problem. Above solution worked.
