the card got broke? epoxy it back together for the support and make sure all electrical connections from vol control are jumped from control to good side of board, see if u can find someone who has soldering experience if you dont an easy fix if vol control is not damaged

alternative.... search ebay u may find someone selling those same speahers

Not sure on the lenght but if you take the old one to a scrap yard and tell them what transmission it's out of, they should be able to fix you up. Use the old one to double check the length.

I don't own the im9, but I own the im600 and I have managed to take it apart far enough to fix it. I saw no screws to open the system either, but I saw that the grille was loose, so carefully I took it off using a tweezer with a sharp point (sticking it in the holes is the grille near the edge, using the tweezer as a lever) after some time the grille was off. After that I could take the speakers out etc. Maybe this could help you.

There is no easy way to tell you this. The smaller speakers usually plug into the large speaker. The large speaker is the sub and has a power source for the other speakers.

Sounds like the wires inside got pulled loose or broke. Replace the speaker wires or check them good for connection.

This is often caused by a shorted speaker wire. If you have a pinched or loose speaker wire that's touching metal, it will cause the deck's internal amplifier to shut off. If you have a multimeter available, disconnect the deck then check each speaker wire for continuity with the chassis ground wire. If you don't have a meter, you can disconnect all the speakers, then connect them again one at a time. See if you can tell if there's one speaker that kills the deck's output.
