I suggest you use the free OpenOffice.

1) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

2) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office on it, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

3) The user interface is very similar to MS Office. There is no learning curve.

You can download MS Office 2007 trial version from the regual MS office site which will be valid for 60 days.
OR you can also purchase online and download it.

is there an error? if there is please provide me with the error. you may also check if microsoft office 2010 was installed successfully by going to the control panel--> programs --> uninstall a program/// try to check if the microsoft office 2010 is still on the list. there is also a possibility that your program has already expired ror may be corrupted. in that case if you're using a license version of the Office 2010 then you may try to uninstall and reinstall the product. The Product key or serial key is the license you receive when you purchase Office 2007 or any Microsoft software. You probably were using the trial version of the software. You have to buy Office to get a Product Key. Best thing to get is Open Office, which is fully compatible with any Office , and you do not have to spend dollars because it is free. Hello:
Microsoft Office 2010 has three different versions. Confirm that you have Office Professional, the only version that includes Microsoft Publisher.
If you do have Professional, you should try to 'repair' the Publisher Installation. You can do this by inserting your Office installation/backup disk and running setup.exe. There should be an option to change the products that you installed and the ability to 'repair' the installation. This will essentially reinstall Publisher without disrupting your other programs and settings.

Unfortunately, the Home and student version of MS Office both 2007 and 2010 do not contain Access.
I looked a at new box on amazon to confirm..
