Ticks in recording

Hello I am using an aurora 16e connected to the computer via AES and PCI cards. Using pro tools 10. I am recording at 88,1 kHz and at 32 bit. All clocks match on the card and the program. I am getting ticks in the recording. If in go to 44,1 the ticks keep happening but at a slower pace. Any ideas? Thank you

SOURCE: 9-16 channels issue

So you have your core card and how many accel cards?  Which interface is plugged into your core card? If you want the lynx to be 1-16 in and out the easiest thing to do is to make sure it is plugged in to the core card and your rosetta is plugged into the accel card installed after the core card.  As far as I know the power sequence won't change the assignment of the i/o.  If you don't want to change where the interfaces are plugged in then you can do it in the i/o setup and save the setup for the way your interfaces are plugged into the computer.  If your already plugged into the computer like I said then you will need to check the i/o setup to make sure the i/o setup isn't all scrambled.

I have a Tascam TM-D1000 digital mixer that has a TDIF output and want to connect this to my computer. Do I need a PCI 822 card or is there another option to connect?

I have a TMD1000 connected to my computer via the RCA ( Red & White) outputs on the mixer to an M-Audio 2496 Sound card in the computer.
also via the Digital out on the mixer to Digital in connector on the card.
I then edit recordings on the computer with Cubase pro.

How do I transfer recorded programs from my 622 DVR to my home computer?

http://www.dishnetwork.com/downloads/user-guides/receivers/622_UserGuide.pdf
User guide. above.
You would have to connect up, using a PC & DVR software and some form of TV/Video recording Card, or USB device. Then connect up via AV, Composite, Yellow, Video. White & Red Audio. and "Capture" either live video & Audio, so basically whatever was viewed on the screen, would be "Recorded" on the PC, via the TV/Video interface device, if using a laptop, then a USB "Dongle" & software would be the best. In a Desktop, a PCI-I card would be Best, Then using the Software that comes with the devices, you "Record" with that and "Play" with the Dish DVR, and save, the Streamed Video & Audio to the PC. Now, If you have Component Out, on the Dish, then this is the one to use, If you choose this way, remember the Device you are going to use Must have a Component INPUT as well, as A Stereo Audio Input, so ensure the device you get has that feature.

I canot connect to the internet using a broadband some devices are missing, for example the ethernet controller, PCI device, PCI modem...

Hello Friend,
Since the ethernet controller is not installed that means the Ethernet card is not installed and you will not be able to connect via ethernet port. Also if you have wireless, you should install it first to be able to connect wirelessly.
You can try this software "Driverupdaterpro": http://www.ixitools.com/dup/details/
it scans your computer and detect your hardware and give you the best drivers to use.

Wont connect to belkin 54g with wpa security applied

Please try using Wireless 'G' mode only in the router. Also, try using 'TKIP' and not TKIP+AES for encryption.

Please rate this solution, if it works for you.

GeForce4 MX 420 Video Card

First question: Are you sure you have a PCI card?
there are several points here:
Make sure you have the monitor connected to the correct output on your computer. (In this case to the output of the graphics card, not to your onboard output)
If you have a PCI card set bios to PCI
Setting it to AGP means the computer is looking for a graphics card in you AGP-slot on you motherboard.

I cannot help thinking, that you actually have a AGP card in a AGP slot and that you computer is not working on onboard, but on AGP. But you can check which graphics device is used, in display properties (right-click Desktop, Properties, Settings)
