Press setup on the All-in-One. Navigate to Advanced Fax set up using arrow keys. Select Answer Ring Pattern and set it to All rings. Get back to me if the issue persists with detailed description.

Fax machines usually only work over regular phone lines, not through digital cable or DSL systems. If your phone is a VOIP phone, it is a digital system and your fax will not work. It needs to be plugged into the Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) which is an analog system.
try sending to another machine and also from a different telephone line if possible.Also does this machine receive a fax.Noise on telephone line can cause such problems.
