I need to know the amperage so that I can determine wire size for installation. This information is nowhere on the unit or in the manual??? I am wanting to wire an ingersoll rand air compressor, SS5L5, Emerson Motor. It is 18 to 20 feet from the breaker panel. 230v/1/60 What size wire do I need to run and what size breaker? Does code require a disconnect by the compressor? I have some open 30 amp breakers that used to be connected to a water heater. If I use the 2 x 30's from the water heater should I use a smaller disconnect (I had seen on some other thread that 60 amp is too much for the 5 hp motor). Thank you
