1. The best and easiest method: Close OS and shut down the electricity power of computer. Open your computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank. Put it back after a few minutes.
It is a CR 2430.
It's a very tricky job to change the battery, watch out for the small springs that fly out when you dismantle it.
Polar recommends sending it back to them for a battery change where they also check the waterproof seal etc. I would recommend this as it's only about $16. Well worth it.
how about changing the channel number of your router's transmission, see if what channel number is good for your location. It might have interference...the antenna position is to be considered too.
