its not problem at all.
if you have an old stereo or tv set you can use one of the small push botton to replace it.
you will need screw drivers, solder, suction and some patience to do the job. that is if the botton is making bad contact.
the problem can be a bad driving IC.
try to open the casing, locate the open/close motor, turn it manually to fully open tray. plug the set into power and try to close the tray. does this happen and still the tray wont open with the botton, then your driving IC is bad. i dont know if you can change the IC, its small and maybe and SMD.
leave door open and press the rubber botton inside, \ I just hooked up mine and it did same thing, i pushed botton light went out, so this told me the door wasnt closing correctly, you have to push hard on door first couple times. hope this helps you.

Try holding the hand held remote up next to the homelink (built in remote). Hold down the botton on the hand held remote and the botton you want to program in the car at the same time until the homelink light goes out. This could take 60 seconds or more. Now depending on which model garage door open and how old it is you may need to program the car to the opener. Usually this is done by pushing the botton on the back(Liftmaster,Sears, Chamberlin) or the botton on the front(Genie) and then go to the car and push the same botton on more time. I hope this helps.
Good day!
Let's try to open your dvd manually. Look at your dvd drive you will find a small hole just beside the push botton, find a long pin push that pin side the hole, it will open you dvd. Push the dvd botton and try to open it again.
Thanks.
