SOURCE: exhaust pipe comes out white smoke when start bike on side stand

Continuous or just for the 5-10 seconds.
If continuous you may have oil seeping past your pistons oil rings or valve guides oil seals.
Check your spark plug see if they are fouled badly (covered heavily and oily) or just covered by oil and sooth lightly.
If 5-10 sec it is normal as the engine is heating up there are normally a little oil seeping past the seals.

SOURCE: RD 250 - I am

Hi people ' if White smoke is continuously coming out of pipes there are many facts and causes first if you are losing power also it may be piston rings worn (2) if White smoke is jetting out when reving engine, depending on the fact that we are talking about 2 stroke engines then check 2 stroke oil mix is measured out before put in fuel (3) check and test 2stroke oil pump for adjustments and reset (4) most important crank case seals give off symptoms of above .. Poor idleling loss of power & compression . Check these areas out . Hope this helps simon R. :)

I have yz250 2004, white smoke coming out the exhaust,, hard to kickstart,, piston makes some loud rattle noise,,, what would be the cause? Thanks

If you have a rad on that unit you have a warped head and the water is leaking into the piston.... stop using immediately as this problem will lead to major engine problem as water does not compress and will either crack the head or blow the Rings.. if no rad then check to see if there is water in the gas.... if neither then it is probably oil burning but that smoke should be blueish...

F250 Lariat Diesel turbo no function sometimes and exhaust smoke white

you didnt specify if this is a 6L or 6.4L since its an 07 it could be either. If 6.0L, White smoke typically indicates a blown egr cooler and this usually damages the egr valve which may cause it to fail open allowing the coolant to enter the combustion chambers and be burnt and cause white smoke, If its a 6.4L I have seen the highside turbo bearings fail causing poor performance and seal failure resulting in oil getting into exhaust, high exhaust temps make it burn and it may appear as a whitish colored smoke depending on severity. Hopefully for you its a 6.0L becuase the 6.4L turbo r&r is a repair where we remove the entire cab from the truck. However your not much better off with 6.0L since egr cooler/oil cooler job can easily run you $1500-2000.

What would cause my 1988 ford f250 with a 7.3 non turbo to blow white smoke nonstop

if the white smoke is coming out of your exhaust, it indicates coolant entering the combustion chamber, likely a cylinder head problem. good luck!

White smoke from an f250 exhast

Is your coolant level dropping w/ no apparent leaks? White smoke from the exhaust indicates a bad head gasket, and loss of coolant would confirm this.
