Why is the motor not turning on?

All the wires are connected and the battery is new. Could i get a complete diagram of what wire goes where. It looks like the cord that goes to the motor are different colors than the one it plugs into.

How to Hot-Wire Test a Cordless Drill Motor

The power switch may not be the problem if a cordless drill stops turning on. Sometimes a bad drill motor can prevent the tool from starting, even if the switch is good.
To determine the problem, the best method is to remove the switch and then hot-wire the drill motor to the drill's rechargeable battery to test it. Replacing motor on my ruud furance

you should have a wiring diagram on the top of the motor to tell you what each wire does. compare both motors and see where the wiring goes.

Need to change a broken blower motor in RUUD central air unit. Old central air blower motor (GE electric) was connected with brown and orange wire to 15 MHD capacitor. Another orange wire from central air...

on the motor should be a diagram detailing the wires. brown white goes to either side of the capacitor and brown wire to other side of capacitor. hi speed goes to normally open contact on the indoor fan relay and the wire designated common on the motor goes to the other side of power from the relay contacts.

I am looking for a wireing diagram for a soloenoid part # 725-142A on a Troy-Bilt 13AP60TP766 Horse (2006)

here is web site for parts

http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=troy_bilt&mn=13AP60TP766+Horse+%282006%29

http://www.outdoordistributors.com/MTD/MTDpartslists.html

enter model numbers and select manual download

basically heavy red wire from battery goes to 1 heavy termial on soleniod and the other red lead that is connected to starter motor goes to to the other heavy solenoid terminal

their should be a wire that comes from main switch ( from start mode )
that connects to small solenoid tab and the other tab if it has one will be for a earth ground wire

12 vlt comes from start switch ( start mode ) and energises solenoid
pulls contactor together to make contact accross heavy terminals and sends volltage to starter motor , s/motor turns over engine

cheers

I need the battery wiring diagram for HomeLite UT13122. I took out the old batteries without documenting the wiring thinking it was in the manual.

Short blue cable goes between the negative and positive terminals on one side of the battery.

Thick white from cable that goes to the switch and thick wire that comes from negative terminal of motor go together with the small black wire from the hood - connect all 3 wires to the negative terminal on other side.

Thick green wire from cable that goes to the switch goes with the thin red wire from the hood - connect both wires to the remaining (unused) positive terminal.

How to attach leads to batteries

This is what they call a series connection. The two 12 volt batterys are wired together in a series to make one 24 volt battery. The positive wire or red from your trolling motor goes to the positive post on battery 1. The negative lead from trolling motor goes to the negative post on battery 2 then there is a short wire that goes from negative on battery one to positive on battery 2. NOW GET THAT HOOKED UP AND GET IN THE BASS.

2001 Cavalier won't start even with a new starter. no Turnover

Haynes automotive manuals have good diagrams.. Check too make sure the ground on the battery has a really good and clean connection, at the battery post. If that is clean and tight then follow the neg (black) cable to where it mounts on the engine or frame, make sure it is clean and tight. Check all your connections on the starter motor, Which should be on the bell housing between the engine and transmission. You will see a smaller motor on top of the starter with a big cable and a couple of smaller wires, make sure everything is tight and secure. if you have to remove wires from starter to repair wires undo the cables from your battery. you dont wanna short these out. easier to undo batt than find a blown fusible link in the ignition circuit. if thats not your problem than it should be in the ignition where your key goes into. Good luck with that.
