If it backfired it's quite often timing. I don't know what motor you have but see if you can check the timing. If it's not the timing check if the car has a camshaft and or crankshaft sensor. If one of those go bad she wont start. Another quick test is to spray starting fluid or some carb cleaner into the intake and swing it over ... if it starts you have a fuel issue. Maybe the pump.

you have to go in to the proramming mode of the remote to change this feature. you can access this by holding all 4 buttons on the remote at the same time. (or if you have the P button on the back you can hold it down by itself) you will hear 2 long beeps confirming the programming mode. at this time, you can change the settings by pressing 1 of the 4 buttons., each button will change a different function.
in no order------
1. Beep/vibrate or both
2. page or not to page
3.back light
4. hood, truck, or both
the remote will give 2 long beeps when it exits the programming
SOURCE: disable viper alarm
Yes the best way is disarm the alarm and put in a Valet Mode
To activate the Valet Mode do the following:
There is a push button or toggle switch to disable the alarm (to engage the valet mode). Without knowing where this
switch is you won't be able to disconnect the alarm.
1. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position.
2. Flip the toggle or hold the push button for at least 5 seconds.
3. The LED. light will stay solid on.
4. Turn the ignition off
5. Release the push button. If you have a toggle leave it alone in step 2

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
