I had the same problem, and is a easy fix, turn on your console, dont need the controller on, and hold the sync button for approx 30 seconds, then turn the console off, take out the power lead from the console and then remove it from your mains, wait about 1-2 minuts then plug it up and switch on the console, first sync the xbox then the controller, and this should work, if it dosent try xbox support their number is on xbox.com

You have to press the small button next to memory slot b and the button on top of the remote next to where you connect the wire at the same time.

I have a xbox 360 that is all black. i played on it for a couple of days, then i took the controler to my freinds house. I brought it home and it wont sync in with my xbox.

You will need to look for two buttons one will be on the xbox and the other on the controller.
You will need to push both of them at the same time.

I went to my friends house and brought madden 11 I BROUGHT 2 CONTROLLERS to play 4 player he hooked my controlers to his console i have no clue how 2 hook it back 2 mine

there is a small round button (i think near the usb ports or under the disk drive) press that and hold the xbox button in in the middle of the controller. the lights on the xbox will spin and then the light on the controller and xbox should flash and it should be synced back to your xbox.

Xbox 360 Controller Won't Connect To My 360....

You have to connect the controller like this: Somewhere on the XBox 360 controller there is a button that looks like this, o))) or something like that. Push that button and look at the XBox 360 round lights, they start to flash, that means you have to push the same button on the console. The o))) button should be infront of the console.

Max

Green light flashing on controller no light on 360

You need to reconnect your controller to your xbox. Next to the two memory slots on the front of your xbox, there should be a small round button. Turn on both your controller and your xbox. Push the little round button. There should be a similar button on your controller. Push that too. They should recognize each other.

XBox 360 wireless controller won't connect or charge

Guys, you really need to calm down... I have the same problem like you.

I'll tell you step by step why the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller won't work.

1. The controller will automatically disconnect during the gameplay, and the charging kit won't charge.

Solution: This is true what I'm saying now... Where you guys brought your wireless controllers in the stores, there was a Frequently Asked Questions book inside the kit. It told you about the importance of the charging of your wireless controller, because Microsoft informed that it's VERY important to empty your battery before charging it, because the charging kit will no longer charge your battery, and the same thing happened to me. So, if you have any questions of your wireless controller, then contact me at my gamertag, NussKarte. I'll give you new information how to fix your wireless controller.
