If they won't go back into the slots pull the frame out and reinstall it it's not lined up with the back wall correctly, you have to drop the frame in place get the back wall and line up the outside edges the plastic strips and make sure they go into the frame and then push down on the frame where the clips go in,if the frame isn't down you'll never get the clips in

the drain pipe in the wall needs to be as tall as the cabnet of the washer. if it is the see how much hose is going into the drain pipe. should only be about 9 to 12 inches into the pipe. any more than that will cause a syphon and suck the water out as it fills
SOURCE: Difficulty installing brass clips on kenmore model 110.92274100
first off the clips should go right in place if the cabinet is installed properly..with the lid open tip the cabinet and place it in place.. the very front of cabinet must go UNDER the front frame plate of washer. And the side then sit atop the frame.(in the very rear, perhaps 2 inches in from either side there is as a small slot cut into the cabinet and a corresponding tab on the washer frame itself. it should literally sit right into place(might take a little finagling, but it'll fit nicely.. when this happens the brass clips, will first hook into the back wall of cabinet and then with a little pressure push and snap into the cabinet you removed
SOURCE: my kenmore washer is overfilling even though I changed the pressure switch
The clear plastic tube runs from the pressure switch to the air dome on the lower right-hand side of the wash tub. If the air dome end of the hose were loose, water would begin to spill out of the bottom of the washer when the level in the tub reaches only a few inches.
If the washer is filling the tub completely, but your pressure switch is not shutting the water off, you will need to confirm you have a good electrical connection, and that you do not have a small hole in the air hose somewhere. It is possible for the air hose to develop leaks where it contacts the washer casing and begins to chafe. If your electrical connections to the pressure switch are secure, trace the wires back to the timer and make sure you have good continuity. There should be a wiring diagram located under the operator console. Please refer to the following link for instructions on how to access the inside of your washing machine:

I know the instructions are for replacing a motor coupling, but the steps are still the same for opening the console and removing the outside washer casing. Please let me know, if you require further assistance. If you don't get anywhere with this advice, please post back with your complete model number. It may help me further with diagnosing your problem. I hope this provides you with a solution.
PS I apologize for taking so long getting back to you.
