Micro Sd keeps saying it does not contain supported music files

I have a Motorazr VE20 cell phone and I purchased a micro sd card to download music files to. I sync the music from windows media player with a cable and it says that it synchronized. Yet when I try the music player it says the micro sd card does not contain supported files. I've formatted the card in the phone and it still says the same thing. Help! MicroSD does not contain supported music files

1. Install the sd into the phone.
2. Go to Menu > Settings > USB > Mass Storage
3. Connect the MotoVE240 to your PC via USB
4. Under My Computer open drive (E:).
5. Find the folder that has your music in it. Example: My compter made a folder called Music.
6. Drag music from that folder to the my_music folder. (the phone will only read music that is in this folder.)
7. remove your phone from the usb
8. press the music note on your phone and enjoy your music

Music will not play

You need to reformat your music files to the Motorola format - Your phone has specific requirements for file size and format that currently the music on your SD card doesn't match.

Your phone should have come with the software allowing you to convert your music into the required format.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

Having problems playing music frommy sandisk 4gb micro memory card on my motorola ve240 cell phone

I have a similar problem, the issue for me was windows media player was creating a folder called music on my sd card and uploading the music there during sync function. However, the phone only looks in the \my_music folder on the SD card. Sync your phone, then rename the newly created music folder to my_music and the player will work. Still looking for a permanent solution to this problem.
