The minutes do not print for one of these reasons.
1. It is not programmed to print the minutes (it may be programmed for a message, date, year, or other characters.)
2. The Ink ribbon is out of ink. Amano PIX Series Ink Ribbon CE 315151
3. The printer is either out of alignment or needs service
4. The Battery is low/dead.
sorry to say but the CP-3000/CP-5000 time clock was one of the worse ever made by Amano. it had all kinds of issues. If you want a reliable one, get a MJR-7000. www.gatewaytime.com
there are tons of answers for this
1. No ink ribbon
2. printer is faulty
3. printer is unplugged from board
4. sensor is faulty
5. is it giving an error code or spitting it back up?
6. there could be another card stuck inside....need more info to troubleshoot.

could be for a couple different reasons...
1. you had duplicate cards (ie; your card was number 078 and another person also had number 078).
2. the printer needs to be aligned
3. a sensor is going bad
