you can connect with no credentials. then it times out.

You're probably being prompted to supply the security key (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) in order to connect to the WiFi signal. When you see this prompt, supply the key associated with the SSID by typing it on the device's (laptop, tablet, smart phone, etc.) keyboard. If you do not know the security key - you'll have to get it from the owner of the WiFi signal. If the device and the WiFi source BOTH supports WPS, you can select it on yur device and then press the WPS button on the WiFi source hardware and not need to type anything.

You need to register with Netflix online first to create a login and password.

Here`s how to:

>> On your computer go to netflix.com then click signup or signup.netflix.com
>> Fill all the necessary information they needed.
>> Purchase any plan they offer after you created an account(Optional as you can avail a trial version for 7 days)

Now go to your TV

>> Turn the TV on then hit menu
>> Go to My apps menu
>> Select Netflix
>> Sign in with your username and password
>> Take note of the code
>> Go to your computer and login to netflix.com/activate and type in the code to activate.
>> Go back to the TV select finish to start the service

Important:

Make sure your TV is connected to the internet, either wired or wireless

Here are the three methods to connect wireless on your TV:


Scan and connect

>> Turn on the TV
>> Go to Menu
>> Go to Network settings
>> Select easy then scan for networks
>> Select and connect

Connect using WPS

Press the WPS button(Padlock with signal wave) on your TV`s side panel then on your router.

Note:

You only have two minutes before the router turn the WPS off


Add network manually

>> Go to Menu
>> Go to Network settings
>> Select manually add network

Type and select the appropriate settings:
SSID: Name or the Wireless network
Security: Either the WEP, WPA, WPA2 or WPA+WPA2
Passphrase/Passkey: Type in the password

Wait for a prompt that the TV is connected to the internet.

If the authentication password is legal and correct; you would connect. The only way a connection fails is if the password has been changed or you are not the administrator.
Contact the Router manufacturer for details on how to reset the system.

Connect the router directly to your computer via a Ethernet cable, type 192.168.1.1 on your browser, if is new from factory, username leave it in blank and password: admin
Once ou enter on the web based configuration you can go to the wireless section, set a name for your WiFi network (SSID) select WPA or WPA2 security and type the passfrase you want to sue to allow wifi devices to connect to your network (ex mywifiisawesome) leave channel like it was.

Disable mac address filter. or any other stuff you don't know about. every time you make a change save it and apply it, at the end, go to administration and change the router password from admin to a new one, this password is not to connect to your WiFi network this is only to access to the router config. the passfrase is the one you must type on your computers to access the WiFi.

Both should connect OK: first ensure that Wifi is enabled an configured for each service.

In order to connect to a Wifi service you need to know/have the correct information for each network/router you want to connect to:

• Broadcast or SSID : Case sensitive ID.
• Security Type : NONE, SHARED, WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Personal or WPA2-Enterprise
• Encrytion Type : AES or TKIP
• Network Security Key: normally entered in Hex format (2chars pairs)

change the security type to 64bit WEP... and have your password as 10 digit number...

also change the ssid to a single word with no spaces in between....

right now your password is wpa/wpa2... this is not compatible with certain computers....

you must enter the WEP key because if type in the pass-phrase it won't connect(don't know why)
