Hello, my monitor is not showing any image on the secreen the light is turned on but the monitor does not seem to get the image from the computer, i can tell the monitor has received a signal because the light turns from orange to yellow as if would have been shaken hands with the computer. Is there a reset combination of keys or how can i fix the problem I dont have any warranty left. Thanks EEGordon's post looks legit I opened it up and and two of the caps pointed out are definitely busted. I ordered all the parts and ill be installing them next week. Ill repost and let you know how it goes. -TJ
Open up the unit. You should replace the damaged/bulged caps on it. You should also check the two MOSFETs before the transformers on the inverter section. If that does not do it, there's one SMD fuse beneath the card that normally blows when the MOSFETS fail. You should either replace it r bridge it with solder.
Your monitors inverter unit may be defective. First you can replace the bursted capacitor. It may solve the problem
