Question about Kaz Hfd-130 Enviracare Ifd Air Purifier For 15x15 Area
I saw the pre-filter was dirty so I cleaned both filters as recommended. The meter showed a quarter of the way to dirty. I tried turning it on, and nothing. The dirty meter shows nothing. It was working great before turning it off. After reading more on the subject, I did not unplug it first. I left it unplugged for 24 hours and plugged it back in holding the start button for minutes and nothing. I tried pushing the start button and then re-set button...nothing.Any suggestions? Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your post, K!
I understand that your Frigidaire dehumidifier is continuously running and it is not collecting water. This can be caused by a dirty filter. A dirty filter can restrict air flow which will allow your dehumidifier to not pull in air. I would recommend checking your filter to make sure it is clean.
Frost on the coils within your dehumidifier will also cause your dehumidifier to stop working as well. You should check to make sure that there is not frost visible on your dehumidifier. If you do locate frost you would need to perform a manual defrost on your dehumidifier and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for at least two to three hours.
If these steps do not resolve your issue you may need to reach out to the manufacturer for a proper resolution. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Hello Winl, thank you for your inquiry!
I see that you are having issues with your clean filter light coming on in your Frigidaire dehumidifier. From what you are describing it sounds like a possible issue with a sensor within your dehumidifier. I would recommend consulting with your manufacturer to see if they can provide any additional assistance towards a resolution. Best of luck! -OOS
