MY MENU, VOLUME, MISC, SCREENS KEEP POPING UP UNDER NORMAL OPERATION OF TV.

I doubt this is a user fix. There is a problem in a mother board .
I would run to the warranty and try to replace it.

Thats a common issue with that chassis ITC222A which is always caused by the small signal board needing replacement. You should be able to get the small signal board from www.tvrepairworld.com

It should be under warranty still but if not and menu comes up on its own I would suspect a problem with the keyboard where the buttons are---they may look and feel fine but they usually are the cause of this kind of problem----In several cases I have had to remove individual micro switches under the buttons to confirm or deny this---if for example menu is disabled by removal of that switch (not the plastic button but the switch under it) then the set can be operated with the remote-----I would see about getting it fixed/replaced even if just out of warranty.

The tv manual control buttons board like POWER,MENU,INPUTS,CHANNELS - +,VOLUME - + could be bad and causing this problems.Take the tv aparts,unplug the connection that plug of the mamual pc board functions,the tv will work as normal only no manual buttons functions,if the Menu screen stop poping up,than u know the manual control buttons board is bad must be replace.If Menu it still poping up,than u have a bigger problems,the tv Tuner signal board is the cause and the problems.That the board,that take in the incomming broadcasting cable wire is the problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those refurbishes boards like the manual control buttons board or the tv Tuner signal board.

May be a defect but, if you notice the sound changes with different channels or movies or HD or Standard, look for a volume limiter control button in the menu setup under audio control. Sometimes the menu has a control that you can turn on to limit different volume levels during the shows origination.

You should be able to go to the tivo menu and push Messages and Settings, followed by Settings, and finally Remote Control. Then follow the directions on the screen. You normally would program volume and mute, power, and tv input. It will walk you through the manufacturers and give you the codes to try.

If the codes do not work, it is possible that Tivo does not have the codes for the TV yet, but I would first make sure that you have the most recent version of the Tivo operating system (force a network connection a few times).

That's the text box function of the closed caption decoder. Look for buttons with "CAP", "TEXT","CCD", or "CLOSED CAPTION". Look in menu for same.
