Battery low and charger only lights up power, not charging

The batteries have gone into Sleep Mode. The battery voltage is too low to be registered by the charger. There are tricks to put some power back into the cells.

Electric clutch may not be getting enough power. Check fuse. It may be getting power that is not sufficent from low battery. Check water level in battery, check power by turning lights on and cranking motor. If lights go very low then battery is suspect. If my JD battery gets very low it has to be charged with external charger as the JD charger cannot bring very low battery up and drive clutch too.

Hi, Ephraim. The flashing red light indicates that the device is showing "low battery". It could be that the LG phone charger fits the charging port on your bluetooth headset but it is not compatible with your device. In order for you to know that it is charging, the device should show a steady red light(means charging).

John the red flashing light indicates a low battery When you charge the battery your charger should be showing a red light for power and a yellow light. When the batteries are fully charged you should show a red and green light on the charger. Now if you have a voltmeter plug the leads into the two outter holes of the charger port located under the front of the joystick.Without the charger plugged in you will be reading the battery voltage. Fully charged it should read 27-30 volts if you are only reading 20-24 volts then the batteries are low. If you have an onboard charger plug it in and you should read the charger voltage of 29-32 + volts If you aren't getting that voltage then you have a bad charger if you are getting the charger voltage then you have bad batteries and they need to be replaced Hope this helps you

Phil the red means battery is low and the green is a speed limit code because of the low battery if you have charged your batteries and you still get the red then you need to check the charger after charging all night does the yellow light on the charger turn green? if when you first plug in the charger if the red light is on and the other light is green then there is a problem with the wiring or connection to the batteries from the charger and you aren't charging the batteries. if when you plug the charger in and you get a red and yellow light then the charger is working but you don't ever ge a green light and the battery level gauge is still showing red then you need to replace the batteries Hope this helps

Kw How old are the batteries and have they been sitting up for a long time? If this is the case the charger cannot pick up really low batteries and charging them for 48 hours won't help. Unfortunately you have to get 2 new batteries. Your chair requires 2 U1 batteries. Now if the batteries are fairly new and when you plug the charger into the joystick you should be getting a red light and a yellow light on the charger. When fully charged the yellow light turns green. If you have both lights and it never turns green bad batteries if no lights or just the power light bad charger, If you have a digital voltmeter you can set it on 200 volts dc and place the leads in the two outter charger plug holes on the joystick. It should read the battery voltage fully charged 25-27 volts HOPE THIS HELPS

If your charge light will not work, then do the following..
First make sure you have power where you are plugging it in. If you have power, then plug in the charger, (here I am not sure you are talking about a charger or using a cord to charge the battery in the camera,.. some can be charged that way) and see if the light comes on. If not, then do the following. use a volt meter and check to see if you have voltage in the charger at the connections for the battery. If you have the correct voltage ,power with the charger plugged in, then the battery is suspect and more than likely bad. Replace the battery with a new one.
If you have no power, or low voltage, then the charger is defective, either in the cable or internally. Get another battery charger for your battery.

Do you have the charger terminal, or do you have the charger that you have to take out the battery and charge. Because I have found that my base terminal charger works better than the battery charger that needs the battery to be removed to charge.If you have the terminal charger and the power light is green when it is in the charger I would start from the terminal

It's quite possible that you are charging your batteries with a "smart charger." The problem with some smart chargers is that when a battery is drained below a certain voltage, the charger assumes the battery is a lost cause and stops trying to charge it. You may have to get a cheap "dumb" charger to bring the batteries up to a reasonable voltage before turning things back over to the smart charger.
