There shouldn't be any 'jingly tone' at the end of every compressor cycle. You could be hearing something else making a sound after the compressor stops.
I would suggest the compressor and or motor are failing. The reason the interior light is dimming when the relay connects the compressor is a larger than normal demand on the power supply, i.e drawing more current (amps) than it was designed to.
Not a 5 min. explanation, but in short, if the compressor and fan are both running, question is, Is the freezer cold but not the fridge? If so, defrost properly for approx. 12 hours to remove all ice then restart. If not, one of 2 options remain, there is either a Blockage in the system, or there is a leak in the system. Either way, you need to call a service technician. Truthfully, if diagnosed with a leak, i suggest you replace the fridge as these leaks do not get repaired properly especially if it is internal and good money will get wasted. Hope i helped.
Why were all these replacements made ? Sounds like the Technicians have no clue. When the compressor was changed was the drier changed ? Was the system properly Evacuated and Leak tested ? Please give all the details as this sounds to me more like shoddy workmanship and parts changers.
Hi,
It is time to replace your compressor. Your compressor sucks the energy higher than normal.
It has lower efficiency.
So I suggest to replace it soon.
Since you say the compressor is running, you should check the evaporator coil inside the cabinet. Remove the back wall screws, and the back wall, to expose the evaporator. If its fully encased in frost, like a square block of snow, you have a defrost problem, heater, t- stat or defrost control. If frost only at the top, your fan is not running. If its bare of frost, all you see is the aluminum coil, you have a sealed system leak of refrigeratnt
dear sir/madam
please check the thermostat setting and make sure this thermostat device is working if it,s good and working then please check the compressor relay device and all electrical connections.
and contact to your service technician , for furthermaintenance.
Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed
and PLEASE give a Thumbs Up for the effort. The Raz Shack
Just had the same problem on my Freezerator, the compressor would cycle on for a few seconds and then off for about 5-10 minutes. No cooling. Replaced the overload sw and the start capacitor and system running cold and tru. Beer cold again, 0deg in freezer. Parts are available on the web, P/n 2169373 for the capacitor and 213615000 for the switch and housing...may be different # for the sw....PTM
