Insert magenta ink tank only, **** the ink from the outlet pipe of head cleaning mechanics ( you must open the cover first). It's for check the flow of magenta nozzle. If there some magenta ink "out from the outlet", the nozzle is ok. Then if its still check nozzle don't show the magenta, check the wire to the head. May be the electricirty lost, it is caused by waste ink. I have many experience like that, 95% resolved.Good luck

Depending on when you last used your printer it may take a few head cleans before the ink prints. Print a nozzle check after each clean (uses minimal ink).

Also be aware each clean depletes your other carts as well.

When printing a red line appears about every 8mm through the all of the page i am useing a epson rx630 fred

It means some nozzle not perfect. If you check nozzle, there is missing lines for some nozzle. Example : Print blue color ( 100% cyan + 100% magenta). If some point of cyan head is clog, the output will be shown that at some lines just show magenta. It repeated. Yous said every 8 mm, so, you must print it at best photo quality. If you have print at best photo quality, and lines still appear, it must some nozlle badly clog. Try do head cleaning, wait for 30 minutes. Check Nozzle.

Only black and blue will print on test page; yellow and magenta does not. Ink was just replaced.

Did yellow and magenta print OK before the previous cartridges ran out? If so, it looks like your new cartridges are not working properly. Try another yellow and magenta cartridge - you can re-use the previous cartridges if they turn out not to be faulty. If new cartridges don't solve the problem, you can try soaking the print head, in case you have nozzles blocked with dried ink for some reason.

Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves out of its parking position, pull the power cord out of the back, or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way. Look inside the print head parking area on the right and you will see a small rubber cup that comes up to cover the print nozzles when the head is parked (to stop it drying out). Use a syringe or dropper to fill this cup with head cleaning fluid or distilled water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER. Carefully push the print head by hand fully into its parking position so that the cup full of fluid comes up over the print head. Do not turn the printer on at any stage in this process. Leave this for at least 24 hours, then turn the printer on and try a head clean/nozzle check again. If you get any magenta/yellow ink on the nozzle check, then there is hope! Repeat the head clean/nozzle check process 2 or 3 times, but not more. Leave for 24 hours for any air bubbles to disperse. If nothing, repeat the soak process once more. If still nothing, post a new comment detailing what you have done and the results.

The magenta ink won't print & it's not the cartridge

Hi, one or two head cleans won't clear a clogged nozzle. Try doing 4 or 5 head cleans, wait about 10 hours for the ink to soften and do another 3 or 4 cleans with a nozzle check after each. You should see a gradual improvement in the nozzle checks. If there is no improvement then you need a head cleaning solution such as this one:
http://www.powerklin.co.uk/?gclid=CNGDypir-JgCFQ4yQgodZlC4lw
Others are available just try googling "inkjet head cleaning". The nozzles on the print heads are finer than a human hair, even if you could get at them without a major strip down I wpouldnt recommend it as they can easily be damaged.
Note that head cleaning uses between 5 and ten percent of your ink cart's, if any are low on ink have some new ones ready. Hope this helps.
Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

C84 Wont print red

The printer colour cartridges are magenta, cyan and yellow. The printer prints "red" by mixing magenta and yellow ink. So, if you only get yellow when you print red, it means you aren't getting any magenta ink on the paper.

Have you tried a cleaning cycle? If not, try one (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select head clean). Now run a nozzle check (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select nozzle check). Is there any sign of magenta ink on the paper. Try up to three cleaning cycles. If ink is now flowing, but not yet perfectly, don't carry out any more cleaning cycles. Just leave the printer for 24 hours (to allow any air in the print head to disperse). Then repeat the cleaning cycle/wait process. It may take a while to restore a perfect nozzle check print.

If you have already done lots of head cleans with no result, are you sure you have a good magenta ink cartridge? To eliminate the possibility of a faulty cartridge, buy a new set of compatibles on E-Bay - they're very cheap. You can always re-use the old one later if it turns out it is OK.

If none of the above works, then you may have blocked magenta print head nozzles. You can try soaking the print heads for 24 hours (or more), as follows. Carefully push the print head by hand fully into its parking position so that the cup full of fluid
comes up over the print head. Do not turn the printer on at any stage in this process. Leave this for at least 24 hours, then turn the printer on and try a head clean/nozzle check again. If you get any magenta ink on the nozzle check, then there is hope! Repeat the process until you get a full magenta nozzle check. If nothing, repeat the process once more.

If still nothing, post a new comment detailing what you have done and the results.

Printing photo's colour comes out green

This probably means that only the cyan and yellow cartridges are delivering ink i.e. magenta isn't. This could be because the magenta cartridge is empty or faulty, or because the ink jet nozzle is blocked. Alternatively it could be a faulty print nozzle or faulty main board. The best approach is to first try a print head cleaning cycle and printing a nozzle check. Repeat the cleaning cycle and nozzle check 2 or 3 times. If this produces magenta, but not perfectly, leave it for 24 hours and then repeat the process.

If this fails, you must then make sure you have a good magenta cartridge by changing it for a new one. Save the old one - you can always use it again later if it turns out to be OK. Make sure you use the proper cartridge exchange process to do this so that an ink charging cycle takes place. Then try another nozzle check.

If this doesn't solve the problem, you can try soaking the print head as follows. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves out of its parking position, pull the power cord out of the back, or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way.

IP4300 only recognizes magenta OR cyan

1. Get compressed air
2. Run Printhead under HOT water, do not worry about contacts getting slightly wet.

3. Blow compressed air with straw attachment into screens where the cartridge nozzle sits on printhead. then let it sit and dry.

4. reinstall print test page

5. if this fails open paint/photoshop and print a page of the color that is not printing correctly. rinse and repeat until colors flow freely.

I have several ip4300s and I have yet to give up the ghost on a printer with a clog ujsing this method.
