Troubleshooting little white horizontal lines sony bravia 40' Basically I have consistant white lines while watching blu-ray movies and its only during the movies (not at the menues) and it does not occur while watching regular dvds sony bravia lcd 46'' watching blu-ray movies on ps3 I have white lines that take up the left sixth of the screen that pop in and out. Only with blu ray MOVIES not ps3 blu ray games or reg def movies or menus of ps3

First, change the batteries on the remote with e new set of batteries. Check to see if you can bring up the menu using the buttons on the TV itself. Let me know what happens

can you try on a different tv?or cables or setup menu?
menus might not be same resolution as the movies.
