Where is wifi key? On HP dv3500

In most computers, there is an LED light that glows blue when the wireless device is turned on and enabled, and glows orange when off or disabled. Some newer models use different a different color scheme, see the user guide for more information.
To turn on and enable the wireless device, do the following:

  1. To turn on the wireless device, simply move the switch to the on position. On some computers, the switch is actually a touch point on the panel above the keyboard.
  2. Wireless signal is not lighting up and not getting a signal on my laptop, so I am unable to get on the internet

type 192.168.2.1 in Internet explorer and login to the router setup page..if it asks for a password leave it blank and click submit..on the left side of the page you can see an option called wireless.. below that "channel and ssid"...click on that and go and check whether the wireless mode is "on"...in belkin routers the wireless light willnot litup if the wireless switch in laptop is not turned on...so make sure the wireless switch in the laptop is turned on....
try this it ll work... and dont make any other changes in router setup page....

The bluetooth turns on using FN + F11 it should turn the wireless too but doesn't MSI U100

As per the manual the FN and F11 keys turn on both Bluetooth and Wireless so you need to try it will turn bluetooth and then it will turn on wireless, you can check them by LEDS

Press and hold the Fn button, and then press the F11 button
repeatedly to enable or disable the Wireless LAN or Bluetooth function
recurrently.

Wireless LAN and Bluetooth:
�� Wireless LAN LED indicator glows green when Wireless LAN function is
enabled.
�� Bluetooth LED indicator glows blue when Bluetooth function is enabled.
�� Both LED indicators glow green and blue at the same time when both
functions are enabled.
�� Both LED indicators go out when both functions are disabled.
�� Note: For flight safety consideration, make sure these two LED indicators
go out when you are in flight.

Let me know if you are able to turn the wireless on

Also i will suggest you check in device manager that you wireless adapter is enabled

I HAVE A MINI 10 DELL BUT I CANT SEEM TO GET THE WIRELESS STARTED TO START USING MY LAPTOP

To turn on wireless, with the computer
turned on:

1. Press <Fn><F2> or press the key on the
keyboard.
The Wireless Enable/Disable dialog box
appears.

2. Select one of the following:
––Enable Bluetooth
––Enable Wireless LAN

3. Click OK.

To turn off wireless, press <Fn><F2> again to
turn off all radios.

Meanwhile try this:
Run> type: services.msc > scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration
Make sure it's Enabled and click: Run
