With IDES4, I can load factory defaults to my WK8000.
WK500 uses DATA MANAGER 5.0. If I am not mistaken, you can only save/restore/delete "user data" from and to the instrument.
FACTORY Settings are always unchanged in the instrument and it reset itself every time you power cycle.

I have a Yamaha dtexpress. Very old, but works great. Except the snare sound. It is stuck on bongos. Is there a factory reset for the dtxpress?

It's possible to reset the DTXPRESS electronic drum kit to its factory default settings by performing a Factory Reset. Here's how you can do it:

Press and hold the [DRUM KIT] and [SAMPLE] buttons while turning on the power switch.
The display will show "FACTORY RESET OK?"
Press the [DRUM KIT] button to execute the factory reset.
The display will show "INITIALIZING" while the reset is being performed.
When the reset is complete, the display will show "COMPLETED".
Note: Performing a factory reset will delete all user kits, samples, and other custom settings that you have made. Be sure to save any custom kits or settings that you want to keep before performing the reset.

Patch not saving, write button is not working from the day i bought.i bought is 2nd hand.plez help

If you buy a second hand, it may have been damaged in mini switch (tact switch) under the WRITE button. You need to replace the tact switch. Easy and inexpensive, you can do yourself, only with a little knowledge of soldering

You may also try the FACTORY RESET.
Restoring the GT-10 to the settings made at the factory is referred to as a "Factory Reset."
Not only can you return all of the settings to the values in effect when the GT-10 was shipped from the factory, you can also specify the range of settings to be reset.

If you do this"Factory Reset", all the setting on user memory (that you create) will be erased, so backup your setting before doing this steps.

How to reset the pedal 25 ME? thank you.

You can restore the settings in the ME-25 (memories, tuner

reference pitch, and knob response method) to the values set when

the unit was shipped from the factory.

Performing a factory reset causes all settings saved in memory to be

lost. If you want to keep the memory settings, use the ME-25 Librarian

(p. 11) to save them on a computer.

1.

Hold down [EXIT] and press the MEMORY DOWN

pedal at the same time.

"FA" appears in the display.

2.

Press [WRITE].

The Tuning Guide flashes.

3.

Press [WRITE] again.

The display flashes and the factory reset is executed.
Never turn off the power while factory reset is in progress.

The Sustain pedal does not work.

When push comes to shove, a factory reset never hurts.

Assuming you'd like to proceed with a factory reset, follow these steps:

This procedure makes it possible to restore the S08 to the original factory-installed Internal Voices, Multis and System settings.

WARNING: The current settings for all Multis and User Voices will be deleted. If the current settings and data are not expendable, create a backup before executing the Factory Reset.

1) Press the [UTILITY] button.

2) Press the [JOB] button. The 'FactorySet' screen will be displayed.

3) Press the [ENTER] button. The 'Sure?' message prompt will appear.

4) Press the [INC/YES] button to execute the Factory Reset. The 'Completed!' message will be displayed to indicate the procedure has been successfully executed.

5) Press the [EXIT] button to return to the Utility Mode.
