How can I add a second monitor with a Dell Studio One 19

Hold down (Fn) key and press, press, press.... right arrow (----->) the right most key on your keyboard until back light brightens. If you press several time it also goes off. Just press again until brightens.

Try disconnecting the battery and leave it off for about 10 to 20 minutes.

Wow, now that's why I don't like all in one's on anything. If one thing breaks down, you're out of all the others. OK, it sounds like your video is bad or going bad. Now if you had a regular computer it would be easy to track down the problem because all you would have to do is plug an external monitor into the computer and see if it does the same thing. I'm not sure if your all in one will allow you to attach another monitor, if it does, do it. If it does not, then you've got to suffer the consequences of an all in one and that means being without everything until the one thing is fixed.

If you can see a DB15 port anywhere on your laptop, you can connect a second monitor to it and change the setting in your display to use dual monitor.

download the driver and install-in your system then try.

No you don't have to.,the monitor will automatically convert digital to analogue signal to be able to view images from your computer.

Only place I can find them is to go to ebay and type epc-19 in the search bar. They have some in stock for $20

Also many dell monitors have a 3 year warranty standard...it's worth calling 866-876-3355 and ask them if the monitor is indeed under warranty or not.
