My ge spectra xl144 oven works except when i try to use the bake option it stays @ 100 degrees and wont heat up. Burners, broil & self clean all work. Any ideas?
Most likely the oven ignitor is bad or weak. You can look at it and see how it compares to the broil ignitor. If you see a whitish color on the ignitor and if it doesn't fully glow then it needs to be replaced.

Broil works, bake option does not.
My 4 1/2 year old GE oven doesn't heat at all when on bake. The digital readout stays at "PRE" for preheat. I don't hear the gas come on and I see nothing glowing. The burners work and the coil works when set to broil although no flame comes on.

i try to touch a comand (bake, start,etc.) nothing on the control panel is working. the lights, the burners, and oven works.
