There are two extra parts that are not shown or listed on the parts list. Instructions are vague, such as "insert bars into hooks" "WHAT BARS?????" two 40 something year old college graduates are trying to put their first grandchild to bed in this TONIGHT! Maybe we should just return it and go with something more simple?
Hello New Grandparents. I hope that you were able to resolve your issue before the baby came for a visit.
I am not sure about the extra parts without more info or images, but the bars and hooks should have been metal bars that were attached to the inner top bar of the bassinet side rail. After you raise the side, they are free to move to the hooks that are screwed into the hard pressboard bottom. Pic is attached from the manual. You would have to lift the fabric up to see these pieces. Perhaps that was the issue during assembly.
