My material doesnt want to move forwird only when i pull it very hard what can be the problem

Ok, the feed dogs have been lowered and you must fine the lever that raises the feed dogs. There should never be any pushing or pulling of fabric. It is the feed dogs on your machine that feed the fabric through. You are there to only guide the fabric with a very light hand. it is possible that your stitch length lever is on 0 (zero), therefore the machine will sew over and over in one spot making a knot.

My mother owns a janome mystyle 16 and i am trying to sew projects however the fabric is not being pulled through. please help me.

With any sewing machine if there's a feed problem it usually means the feed dogs or the foot pressure need to be cleaned / adjusted. You can download a Janome 16 Manual here: http://janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/economy-models/inst-book-7318-english.pdf

If you use the darning plate, do you need to have the darning /embroidering pressor foot.

You really do need a foot (just a smidgen shorter than a regular presser foot) that does not contact the feed dogs in order to darn, couch, or free motion stitch. The whole idea is that with this method the feed dogs will not move the fabric, but you also need the foot that allows extra space for you to freely move the fabric manually.

Adjusting feed dogs

check the feeddog lever to see if it's in the up position, if it's not try moving it to the up position. if the lever will not move, then the machine needs to be checked at a sewing machine shop

I have a singer simple sewing machine and when i try and sew, the fabric doesnt move. it doesnt feed through. shouldnt the fabric move without help? and even with help, it just stays in one spot

Sounds like your feed dogs are in the down position. Make sure they are in position "A" (see picture)

Also, make sure your length dial is set to a medium setting (Usually 1.5 - 3)

I am still tryin to find a way to use the machine

When you cover the feed dogs, so you can move the fabric by hand (free hand embroidrey or quilting) you need to use a spring loaded foot that more than likely didn't come with your machine. You can pick them up at most sewing stores, maybe even you fabric store. Some are called a "free motion guide foot". They use a spring that raises and lowers the foot as the machie sews, so that you can freely move the material as the machine sews.

I have a simplicity creative plus sa 2200 and the fabric will not feed through machine under presser foot.it doesnt move grr!

You may want to make sure that your feed dogs are not in the lowered position. If they are in the lowered position, you'll want to raise them, and that should allow them to properly feed the material through.
