Ipod nano - stopped working - will not come on anymore
I have a 1st generation nano. It just all of a sudden stopped working. my ipod is on the do not disconnect screen and its wont work no matter what i do? is it broken forever?
Re: ipod nano - stopped working - will not come on...
You have to reset the Nano.. TO do this. Make sure the slide switch is in the unlock position Press and hold the centre button. Press and hold the Menu. After a few seconds the Apple logo should appear. When this happensl Let both buttons go. The Nano should now work properly..

This is always tricky with 1st generation iPod touches. After a while they can't handle the new software anymore and some functions won't work anymore. Maybe try to downgrade the software. Otherwise you should probably get a new iPod.
This watch is compatible with iPod 5th generation (video); iPod Nano 2nd generation (aluminum) 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB; iPod 5th generation (video) 60GB and 80GB; iPod Nano 1st generation 1GB, 2GB, 4GB; and the iPhone.
The first question I'm not sure. Is that the wireless network system that works with the wall outlets for power and networking?
The answer to the second question is No. You can only transfer playlists from ITunes into the IPod. Make sure your playlists are created in ITues before transferring.
