Either needs to be clean or the REGION needs to be set up to 1 or ALL , LETS TRY WITH cleaning the OPTICAL LENS with a dry Q tip , gently rub a few strokes at the lens , and give it a try, if NOT then try to set the REGION to 1 or all, if still not reading the disc , then have to replace the optical lens, good luck , AJ

Problem solved:) We have the Polaroid DPA-07046G. When you open the player there is a yellow sticker on the inside. This sticker had become slightly raised and was causing the disc to be off balance. Removed the sticker and now it works like a charm. Good luck and hope this helps!

"no disc" error message

Did this problem just start? It may be due to the lens no longer reading the disc. Try a lens cleaner. If your lens went south, it usually is paired with a clicking noise or/and the combination of a no disc/disc error message. I would also recommend staying away from Polaroid dvd players and tv's in the future. They have a habit of not making parts available, especially after the warranty.

Polaroid pdm-0732 wont read dvd

I just solved my issue. My 2 year old son set the AV switch on the side of the player to 'in'. I switched it to 'out' and now it works fine.

Polaroid DVD Player won't charge.

I had the same problem, which I attributed to having the plug in a power strip. Once I plugged it directly into the wall socket, I haven't had a problem since.
