MY NEPTUNE MAH4000AWW WORK WHEN IT WANT TO WORK

THE MACHINE FILLS WITH WATER THEN STOPS, HIT THE START BUTTON IT START AND STOP AGAIN. IF I ADVANCE THE TO THE NEXT SETTING AND STOP AGAIN BUT WHEN I ADVANCE IT TO THE RINCE CYCLE IT RUNS STRAIGHT THROUGH THE WHO CYCLE NON-STOP.  BUT SOME DAY IT JUST WORKS WILL NO PROBLEMS FOR ABOUT AWEEK OR TWO STRAIGHT

We have the same problem! It's so frustrating!! As soon as I push the start button and turn to walk away, it stops. The display panel says it's experienced a power failure, but the power is still on and the machince comes back on when I push the start button. After pushing the start button and stopping another 15 times, it will finally finish the cycle.

I certainly hope someone figures out what's wrong!

Sounds like you have an intermittent problem with the board or one of the on board switches.

My Maytag Neptune MAH4000AWW will not finish a full cycle.

I had the same problem. I called customer support and they gave me these instructions:
Shut off the water supply to the machine, disconnect the hoses from the back of the machine. Pull out the hose and pull out the little screens and clean them with water or soak in vinegar. I was skeptical but did this and the results were amazing. Apparently if the screens get even a little "gunked" up (my screens really didn't look that bad) the machine senses the change in water pressure coming in and shuts it off. Hope this helps!

Maytag neptune front loader, model# MAH4000AWW PROBLEM: Water will not fill. First hot stopped working a few months ago, then cold also stopped. We live a long way from nearest repairman, so have put this...

It sounds like you just have a clogged or bad valve. Depending on the water source I have seen many times a load of crud on the screens where the hose meets the valve. Try taking the hoses off making sure their clear, then inspect the inlets to the valve to see if there is a clog. Unfortunately some of this dirt may have entered and fouled the valve itself, in which case it will need replacing.

Washer Maytag Neptune

Most likely the motor control unit, the MCU controls the timer (loop circuit). Best way to check is to just pull the MCU out and visually inspect it for burned components, although it is not always visible. You may need to make some involved voltage readings to verify.

Check for low water pressure. Clear screens in inlet valve. Do-not remove screens. This unit will turn off if not filled in specified time.

Nf pops up on the screen & the washer stops

The "nf" code is a "no-fill" fault. This indicates that your washing is not getting water supplied to it, or the pressure isn't substantial enough to complete a fill. You need to, first, make sure the water supply is turned on. Second, if the water IS turned on, and you're still not getting anything to your washer, you may have a fill valve problem. The fill valve is what both your hoses connect to on the back of the machine. It can become clogged with sediment over time (especially, if you have hard water or well water). Turn the water supply off and remove both hoses from the back of the washer. Check both these hose connections for clogs in the filter screens. If they are clear, then more than likely the fill valve has gone bad. I hope this helps you.
