Recently, I noticed that my daughter's Zapf Baby Born Doll's legs are molded in the upper side. I am so upset because every time my daughter fed her doll I cleaned it. I was sure it was enough. I cannot open the doll. It looks as if it molded from inside. A few months ago I asked this question on the company's website, but no one answered it. It makes me twice as angry. I cannot find any information on what to do; how to clean or replace the legs. Can anyone help?

Is this a doll that eats and (poops?)..the mouth is an upper hole and the lower hole should be a spot under the main body..if food particles are inside the dolls' body may need a tool like the old water pic flossing macine to clean it out..it is possible to redo a small garden sprayers tip/nozzle to accomodate cleanout of this doll..catch is to find some sort of presurized hose tip to put in the mouth cavity to clean out the body of residue..if that is what is happening..
Testimonial: "Thank you, these tips would certainly help with cleaning a doll inside. Yes, it is a Zapf Baby Born Doll from 2006, D-96472. She eats, ***, has a magnet dummy, and so on.. But I do not know how to get rid of the black spots that appeared on the upper sides of both legs. The spots looks like mold or mildew. I think they appeared because some water was trapped inside and did not come out on time. The spots are not on surface. It looks like they are coming from inside the leg. I do not know if I can detach the leg from the body to clean. It does not seem possible. I asked questions on the company's website yesterday and I am very disappointed. They do not know, they are sorry, they do not produce the doll anymore, they cannot help even with a suggestion (even though I sent a picture) they suggest the hospital. Well, it is very likely that the hospital will cost me the same amount of money as a new doll."

You can use glue to fix , use instant glue that will mend the broken part. Now use Insulation tape to BANDAGE the broken arm so as to keep the arm intact and strong.
Now you can camoflage using the correct colour of the tape, use good quality tape wound without a gap and tight.
This will solve the issue and your daughter will enjoy to play with the doll once again.
