Incline not moving

Hi,
Try to do the following hope it will solve the problem.
if its doesn't solve the problem then the the incline motor or the control panel is faulty.
HOW TO USE THE SETTINGS MODE T
he console features a settings mode that allows you to connect your incline trainer to your own wireless network and to log in to your iFit Live account. The settings mode also allows you to turn on and turn off the display demo mode. You may also be able to select the unit of measurement.
Select the settings mode.
Insert the key into the console . Next, select the start menu. Then, press the i button in the lower right corner of the screen to select the settings mode.
Select the maintenance mode.
Press the Maintenance button in the lower right corner of the screen to enter the maintenance mode.
Calibrate the incline system of the incline trainer.
Press the Calibrate Incline button. The incline trainer will automatically rise to the maximum incline level, lower to the minimum incline level and then return to the starting position. This will recalibrate the incline system. Press the Begin button to calibrate the incline system or the Cancel button to return to the maintenance mode. When the incline system is calibrated, press the Back button. IMPORTANT: Keep pets, feet, and other objects away from the incline trainer while the incline is calibrating. In an emergency, pull the key from the console to stop the incline calibration.
Restore factory defaults.
If necessary, press the Restore Defaults button to reset the firmware to the original factory firmware. This will erase all firmware updates that you have downloaded. Press the Begin button to restore the default firmware or the Cancel button to return to the maintenance mode. When the restoration is complete, the words PLEASE CYCLE POWER will appear in the grey box. Press the power switch into the off position. Wait for several seconds, and then press the power switch into the reset position. It may take a minute for the console to be ready for use.
Exit the maintenance mode.
To exit the maintenance mode, press the Back button repeatedly.

I have a Norditrack X5I NTL15909.0 and the incline stopped working so I did a calibration and it is stuck in calibrate mode.Every time you turn the power on it tries to calibrate up 2" and down 2"?

You need a new incline motor, The incline sensor is bad. One way to test is to pull the black and red off the MCB and applied 120 volts on the black (up) or Red (down) wire and see the incline motor move. If it does then the MCB is bad

My treadmill is stuck on incline 12 and wont move up or down tried all the resets?

Go into engineering mode by pressing the stop and speed up button at the same time while inserting safety key. Once in mode, press the stop button once more then press the plus incline button. the incline should calibrate itself. If not then you might need a motor control board.. I have some in stock, shoot me a message if needed

Precor 927 stuck in incline position

How long have you let it run for after turning it back on ? Some treadmills have a re calibration test built in and will incline to the max and work its way down. During this time you should simply walk away and not touch anything as it trys to calibrate its self. If not i will need more information on it

Nordic. Track incline won't work or calibrate

I have a NordicTrack C2155. Incline not working. There is a schematic inside. There are red, white, & black wires from the circuit board to the incline motor. Unplug the treadmill and have a licensed electrician construct a flying lead cord with a male spade on neutral and female spade plug on hot. Connect neutral to white and hot to where either red or black were connected. Plug in to see if the motor runs. Careful to remove power when the incline reaches its limit and reverse direction. If the motor runs in both directions, the motor is good. Follow the black two conductor wire to the circuit board and unplug from board. Check continuity across this switch. Run motor and this should toggle off and on. If all this checks out then the problem must be with the circuit board. On my treadmill, the schematic says that +5v should supply the sensor, but I only get +3.3v, which is TTL level. The drive motor sensor supply is +5v. The incline motor doesn't even show a sign of trying to run. Either the output transistor is burnt out or the low voltage caused an error so that it does not try to run the motor. Either way, I'm quite certain that a new controller board will remedy the problem.

I have a Image 15.5 Treadmill, it turn on, Incline...

First we need to do a calibration follow this procedure
Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key.
Press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test.
Press either incline key and the incline will calibrate automatically.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP BECAUSE YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE IF THIS STEP IS SKIPPED. After completing calibration of incline, press the Stop key and then remove the safety key.
If the incline moves but you it will not operate normally nor calibrate, check the wiring from the incline sensor to the power board. If all looks normal, put it back in calibration and see if you see a blinking “- -” symbol in the incline window when you are calibrating. If not, the incline sensor is bad call icon Fitness @ 800-999-3756, they may have the sensor or they tell you, you need to replace the incline motor

Treadmill stuck on highest incline....and motor running...but seems stuck...won't come down

If the incline is stuck, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. Unplug the treadmill remove the motor shroud then remove the incline motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, plug in the treadmill and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.
If the incline motor does not move, we need to figure out if the motor is getting voltage. Use a simple multi-meter and set it to AC volts. When you put it into calibration, it tries to calibrate the directions one at a time. Measure across the white and black wires first, then measure across the white and red wires second. If the motor is getting voltage you will read 120VAC (or thereabouts) one one of the measurements. If you have voltage but the motor won't move, you need to replace the motor. . If the incline motor does not move and you have done the voltage test and you do not have any voltage present, there is a problem in the electronics board that supplies the power, you need to replace the board.

When I turn on the treadmill, the incline is stuck @ 12degree and the console beeps and I can not control the treadmill at all. What do I need to do?

ICON CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS- INCLINE
1) Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key. If this doesn’t work, click on the help topic entitled “Alternate Calibration Codes” for key sequence instructions to enter calibration.
2) Press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test.
3) Press either incline key and the incline will calibrate automatically.
4) THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP BECAUSE YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE IF THIS STEP IS SKIPPED. After completing calibration of incline, press the Stop key and then remove the safety key.

If all looks normal, put it back in calibration and see if you see a blinking “- -” symbol in the incline window when you are calibrating. If not, the incline sensor is bad.

  2. If the incline moves but only just a bit, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. We remove the motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.

If the incline motor does not move and you have done the voltage test and you do not have any voltage present, there is a problem in the electronics board that supplies the power. If the console is powering the drive motor as normal, you can bet it is getting an incline signal and the power board needs to be replaced (some models have an integrated power board/controller) so if there is only a single board the whole board has to be replaced

Proform 2500 treadmill stuck in incline position

Under the motor shroud their is a instruction mini manual it will have a how to calibrate the incline motor, if that does not fix it then you may have to manually adjust the incline motor and sometimes it will take awhile to realign . If that does not work replacing the motor maybe the only option
