Look on the rear where the power wire goes into the machine.

Bosch think here, but they can't even get this right, click on the plus markers and the descriptions are reversed.

On the inside of the door, on the right hand side on mine. They can be hard to get to if you have your dishwasher mounted in a corner setup.

I would call Bosch with you.re model and serial number, they have had a recall on your model for the control board and that sounds like it may be your problem, if it is under recall Bosch will send someone out at no charge to install a new board (800) 856-9226

From what you are mentioning, it appears you are not able to identify the model number of your Bosch slimline dishwasher.

Usually the model number is located on the inside top corner of the dishwasher on a sticker along the left or right edge.

You need some reference before trying to locate a manual. Check this site.

Once you find the model number (atleast first 6-7 characters) you can download from the Bosch site.

Hello, the serial numbers for Bosch built dishwashers are different than most. There should be a tag on the right hand side of the door with the model and serial number. The serial number will be the one starting with "FD" followed by numbers, unless the tag has been removed by someone. That is where Bosch places them, good luck. i think your model was part of the recall and the repair is free to fix call bosch and they will take of ity. they need to know the model asnd serial number to know if it is one of the recall

The Bosch model and serial number are located on a sticker generally found on the right hand side of the door as well as underneath the kick panel at the floor. Remove the end screws of the kick panel and near center you will see a model number generally starting with SH... MINE is an SHU4306 / UOC series 006

Just some added information. The number you have may be a part number. I ahve the exact same number on my Bosch Universal Mixer. What i'm looking for is a new casing, mine is broken.
