Today I was trying to sign up for the Affordable Care Act. For some reason, my existing gmail account would not allow me to sign up so my advocate created another account, which is: [email protected]. The advocate received the verification code and signed me up. Now when I try to access this account to finish up my part, the account defaults to all lower case letters and is linked with my existing gmail account of [email protected]. How do I access my new account?
It sounds like your gmail is defaulting to one that you don't want, and you want it to default to a different one. When you go to gmail, it automatically takes you to the last gmail account that you logged onto.
To get to your preferred gmail account, you have to sign out of the one you don't want. To sign out,
1. When you are in gmail, click on the icon in the top right corner (your "account" icon).
2. Click on "Sign Out".
3. On the "Sign Out" page, click on "Sign in with a different account".
4. Here you should be able to access the gmail account you prefer.
Hope this helps.
