I'm willing to bet you have a backlight problem. Turn on the TV, take bright flashlight and shine it on the screen. Do you see the faint image???

I have broken the screen on my samsung LE40 A. Is it possible to fix?

Hello,

It is very possible to fix the screen of your LCD TV.

GO to the dealer they will tell you how to get the screen and you fix it your self or you can ask them to assist you in doing this.

Thanks for contacting Fixya.

Samsung 650 lcd 40" tv picture blacks out for a few seconds.

Dude, better check your cable and also your TV's power management settings. This might also happen due a issue with the HDMI output of the satellite box.
