Hi there! My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It is my pleasure to help you. Please perform a hard reset on the receiver. To do a hard reset, you simply unplug the receiver from the power outlet it is connected to, leave it unplugged for 20 seconds, then plug it back in. The receiver reboot process takes about 5 minutes. Once the show is back on, try accessing your DVR again, if it is still not working, the receiver will need to be replaced. Hello this is Matthew Gonzales with DISH Network customer service. With a 024 message, the best thing that we can do is hard reset the receiver. Are you still having problems with your 625 receiver? It sounds like you are getting a 024 error message. When you unplug the receiver and plug back in, do you ever get a 311 error message? If you are still having problems, the receiver may need to be replaced. I would be happy to further assist you if you would respond back to this site.

Try a hard reset, disconnect from outlet for 2 minutes. If that does not work, check to see if you get an error code, 311 or 024 and if so, your receiver needs to be replaced. Call Dish!

The 024 message means the hard drive itself is having problems functioning correctly. Try a hard reset where you unplug the receiver for 10-15 seconds and plug back in. If the problem persists a replacement may be necessary.

Cause
This message is displayed when a feature that relies on guide information such as Themes, Timers, DVR Events etc. is being used and the receiver does NOT have access to the guide information.

Power off the receiver and unplug the receiver from the electrical outlet. Wait 10 seconds, plug the receiver back into the electrical outlet and power the receiver on.

these error msgs indicate HD failure. your recr will need to be replaced to correct this issue. If you replace the drive yourself you can still ahve these problems, it is recommended to get a replacment from dish themselves.

You will need the receiver replaced as the hard drive is developing an internal error.Thanks for using Fix Ya.
