I have windows Vista. Petz 5 has worked for months since I installed it, then suddenly one day when I clicked it, it showed the loading screen/bar. The bar stops at about almost half full, then says 'Petz 5 stopped working...' and closes. I have tried EVERYTHING. Restarting, reinstalling. It always says this. There is nothing wrong with the disk.. please can someone help me? Everytime I run Petz 5, it runs nearly the full way but then stops and says it needs to close and has an error, sorry for any inconviniense. iTS REALLY ANNOYING and have tryed everything to stop it. PLEASE HELP
If you keep getting error messages its usually because you have too many petz, I used to get error messages all the time. To solve this problem create an empty folder outside of the petz program file, copy all your petz in the adopted petz folder of petz 5, mythos studios, ubisoft in program files. Once you have all your petz safe in this other file, empty the adopted petz one in the program file, you now have a petz game with no petz on it but it should work. Copy the petz you want to play with back into your adopted petz folder, its true you can't have all your petz available for selection straight away but you can swap each petz file from your safe file with all petz in back to the file that is used for game play. Note: If your petz don't appear straight away try opening and closing the program.
When you unintall Petz 5 you need to not save the petz, which is an option just before it starts uninstalling. Unistall, Then install it again, and run the game from My Computor, Petz, then play.

And When It loads the scene A black Screen Always Comes Up First Right? But The Game Goes Really slow and The black Screen Wont go away. I cant Even Play It! :( Please answer I miss my petz
