RPM/voltage fluctuation on Guardian Primepact 50G

Under no load RPM sags and the voltage sags from 120v to 112v and then comes right back up to 120v with RPM increase. Under load the same thing happens but with a smaller range 115V to 110V. Just had new crank seals installed by a Generac shop with 30 years exp. Prior to service it had a 1 or 2 volt fluctuation no load and stable inder load.

The voltage regulator board on this unit is notorious for failing. If you are handy, you can replace it yourself with basic tools and a voltmeter to set the output. The part is about 200 dollars. Good luck

Charger not charging and motor runs fine

You need to check the rectifier first to make sure it has AC power on the 2 x AC terminals and 13.8V DC on the DC side, if you have AC and no DC replace the rectifier, if you have no AC check the stator windings

It may be demagnetised. If you turn off the generator before unplugging the load this may happened. Try to put a strong magnet (like those from loudspeakers) in contact with the body of alternator. I do this in the past and it work.If you do not know how to do this ask an electrician, he can help you .

I have a new Guardian 40G generator that won't start (correctly, anyway). When I squirt gas into the intake it runs until that is gone then dies. The fuel pump is pumping gas to the carb. but it seems to...

Try to measure the voltage at the connector when trying to start.
If it is 12 V and the engine does not start - disconnect it and try again.

Have in mind that you must have protections (Shut down):
  1. Low oil level;
  2. Low oil pressure;
  3. High temperature.
and this valve may be responsible for them.

Each time I run the microwave all power shuts off until it resets itself

In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man.
Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.

Guardian rv generator

Your control board is faulty. Try to power up the ingnition coil as well as your fuel pump. If this does not get the engine running then you have major engine problems.

Before starting the genset remove the air filter and check the throttle plate on the carberator, it should be closed. If it is opened, then you choke coil is worn out and needs to be replaced.

Have a 16k propane guardian generator have to manually start and

Is this an RV generator?

If you have to really choke an LP engine but it runs more or less normally once started you need to troubleshoot the demand regulator and the fuel supply lines (look for air leaks). I'd also check the fuel inlet pressure before the demand regulator.
