Quickplay on laptop plays everything slow motion and no sound, no sound for games most of time.

no computer stated, just LT. no OS stated, XP to W10.
there are like 33 years of LT. now. vast HP laptops. made.
2yo old can be, you bought it new, or is new to you but real old
only the model number puts age to it. (for sure)

slow PC, are they not all slow? (some say so,)

what video's DVD, saved MP4s, live streaming videos off the internet, like netfix. or what games, PC solitaire or $60 steam games
or a on line streaming game as seen on STEAM. (free)
we cant guess any of that nor what is BOTTLENECKED.


lets say you said , I have tiny game in my pc that is slow
why? (clear no? lets even name it, Duke Nukem retro)
top reasons.
my guess the growling is inside the headphones and not the HDD crashing. (bad) if PC is new and SSD now's that time to say it
or full pc model.#

1: pc is slow, it was cheap and slow,.(upgrade time) gamers, nightmare...endless.....
2: pc is infected, as most are. reload windows (is it windoz?)(
3: pc has failing HDD.
4: PC is overheating.
5: worse there is always worse. (pretend long story here, endless)

Try using a third party program like WinDVD or InterVideo. You can get free downloads of a lot of them, and HP has never had the best record for player technology so they can use all the help they can get!

The motherboard is the problem, common in HP, sub out the ram one stick at a time and try power on each time, remove main battery as a last resort. If none of these help the main board must be replaced.

i dnt know about the quickplay but u can use VLC this plare can play all formats available on earth man :)

Try installing K-lite codec pack in the system. It comes with Media player classic as well. It works real good. Might be of some help to you. Below is the link to download K-lite codec pack. The software K-lite codec pack is safe to use. So no worries. Please do comment if this solution does not work out properly we shall try another troubleshooting step.

No motion picture, movie, games, etc do have this problem, because the LCD or TFTP screen has very low refresh rate so while playing games OR watching dvd movies on a laptop will give jerky movements which as you have mentioned that the is no syncronization. The refresh rate on laptop screens are 40 60 Hz whereas in CRT Monitors we get 70 90 Hz, Sorry nothing can be done....sodeep

I think you've problem of wrong driver or not good driver for your sound.Best is uninstall and restart your computer and it should auto install by itself back again.For your quickPlay you also need a driver for it make sure you install the driver.
