How long the lamp works for? Check if cooling fan is rotating. Overheating can be the cause of premature lamp failure.

When I turn on the overhead projector it displays picture on the ceiling. Need to adjust to show on the wall. Do not have a manual.

Hi! This is a pretty common problem with overhead projectors. At the top of the arm that's over the unit, there should be a lens unit. The unit needs to be rotated so that one lens points down, and one lens points towards the screen. Once the lens is rotated properly, the lens unit is moved up or down in order to focus. There's usually a knob to turn to move the lens up or down.

Apollo vp835 projector, poor quality. Replaced bulb, didn't help

you have at least 2 issues with your optical engine. both are due to excessive dust and heat. the fly-eye (diffuser) lens is fried, as is the light filter on one of the lcd panels. unfortunately, you cannot purchase individual parts for the optical engine. you'll have to replace the whole thing.
