There is a small round belt that gets stretched out then it slips on the gears. It will be directly under the tray, easy fix. find a similar sized belt off a old vcr- dvd ...good luck.

SOURCE: Sanyo DVW 7200 Disc Error

check to see if the disc spins......As in place the disc in the DVD player with the label in a position that is readable to you....Put the disc in close the tray and wait a few seconds. Open the tray and se if the disc actualy has moved. If it hasent then the motor is bad and not worth replacing!

DVD loading mechanism doesn't load completely that's why opens after attempt of loading.
You need to open top cover of unit and inspect loading belt might be lose, tray timing can be out of phase, some wire got stuck with tray while loading etc.

The motor for the DVD drive may be busted. I reccomend getting a new DVD/VCR Combo. otherwise, your dvd player is basically fried

The DVD slot will not open, what do I do?

OPen my computer and then right click on your DVD drive. Then click on properties and eject. If that dowsn't work, there is a small hole on the faceplate of the DVD drive. Insert a paper clip and push it in until the door opens.

Disc Error, and DVD tray ejecting on it's own....

If it is new, best advice is to take it the Comapny Service Centre, as you are having Warranty.
