If you are connected to a HD cable box or sat. rcvr. using component cables, I would then suspect a loose or bad blue connection or cable. If you have Comcast and have their supplied flat component cable this is a common issue.

SOURCE: Vertical lines across the screen

I now have the same problem. Lines are on the left side of the screen almost have way across the screen, with a thicker line int he middle which is the same length. It started last week and stopped after fiddling with it. Now it comes on fine then about 5 min . in the lines appear. I have had the tv for 1.75 years myself and have had to deal with bulbs popping numerous times (3). Was this the same as yours? Did solutions work? Please do tell.

SOURCE: reset timer toshiba 62hm116

I do not think failing to reset the Lamp Timer would cause the Lamp not to light. You need to get into the Factory Menu while the picture is on in order reset the Timer. I believe you have a Ballast issue either because the Power Supply is not powering the Ballast or the Ballast not Powering the Lamp. In either case, the only way to know is to have a professional to check it out and give a estimate for repair.
I hope this helps,

I replaced the lamp in my 46HM95 and as soon as I turned it on, the screen flickers. Any ideas?

Reset the lamp hour meter. Unplug the unit in the main power outlet then turn on the main power switch on. Press and hold the ON, stand by, menu and Input buttons at the same time the buttons are on the projector. Though the same buttons are found on the remote control, the reset only works with the projectors buttons.Plug the power cord back in to the outlet while holding the buttons ON, STANDBY, MENU, INPUTS buttons at the same time, the lamp timer will reset when the projector receive power. Good day and best regards.

The TV does not work and the red and green light flash together

This could mean your lamp is bad or your lamp timer is max and needs to be reset. Check your manual to see what the blinking lights mean.
