One sided sound...but this time I have replaced rca/phono lead with a new one,what else could it be?

Here are a couple of steps you can do first before opening up the mixer & I'll word this so that it covers every potential item, (Turntables, CDJ's, Rack Mount CD Players, External Player, PC, Laptop, etc.) Obviously there are a multitude of items that could be the cause of you only receiving your RIGHT MASTER OUT since you didnt specify what item this occurs with if not all. So here's a quick legend for you to follow my references regarding the NUMARK 5000FX Mixer so here we go:

1. Turntables - A) If being used make sure the little black switch on the back is set to Phono instead of CD. Plug just one table in, play the record & see if there's only one side of your MASTER output jumping and make note of it. Then repeat the exact same steps for all Phono inputs (total 3) & again make note of your MASTER output signal Left or Right or Both sides jumping. This will help you identify if its just a specific channell that only works on R or L.
B) Now do the exact steps above for the other turntable & this will confirm whether or not the Phono cables went bad on the turntable or if a specific channell is has gone bad while in Phono mode.
2. CDJ's/Rack Mount CD Player - A) Now just use your CDJ's/Rack Mount CD PLayer for the next test & be sure to now change the little black switch on the back from Phono to CD. Just as the steps with the turntable perform the same for this item in all possible RCA's (total 6) & note your MASTER channell output signals L & R.
B) Now do the same for the other CDJ/Rack Mount CD Player & this will confirm whether or not the RCA cables went bad on the CDJ's/Rack Mount Player or if a specific channell has gone bad while in CD mode.
3. Audio Cables OUT - A) There are a host of ways to have your audio come OUT & multiple configurations depending on how you record &/or bounce your audio OUT. Now since you say your MASTER OUT digital meter is only jumping on the R side depending on if you're going with RCA MASTER OUT or XLR BALANCED MASTER OUT either or is what'll show the digital reader bouncing with audio so check both. It could very well have been a cable going bad on you simple as that & you can check that by pluging your cable that works on the R side into the L side. If it starts showing a reading on the digital meter than you've solved the problem being a bad cable. Also don't forget to check your ZONE, BOOTH & RECORD OUTS as well however these will not show on your digital meter so open up your audio recording software to confirm that L & R sides are working for these.
B) Last but not least double check that your BALANCE knob is set directly at 12 o'clock, this could sometimes be the culpret.

If your LG unit to which you wish to give the audio output of your TV has an input [Audio In] socket, you cah connect it with using phono leads. In most cases, the audio equipements will have audio IN sockets with them; some have an RCA socet, otheres have stereo type sockets which accept external audio signals. Look keelnly on the back side of your audio equipment and find out which type is there, and buy a phono chord to suit the need. If there is no audio IN on your audio equipement, there is no way to connect. OK.

Nothing should be connected to PHONO except a turntable.

Reverse the leads left-to-right and see where that takes you for the root. Might be a bad cable.

Normally 3 standard sockets for audio, line in, line out and mic in, that are coloured blue green and pink respectively, for audio out connect to green socket (3.5mm jack plug)

If you've already replaced the RCA /Phono cables, then the only other item that would cause this kind of problem is your tonearm, and it will need to be replaced.

Each "red and white" represent a stereo pair (Right and Left respectively. What type of connectors are on the SA51AR? I will guess TS (tip sleeve) or Phono for the sake of this answer.

It sounds as if the PC's outputs are stereo TRS (tip, ring sleeve) 1/8" female connectors, which is normal. TRS connectors carry both the Left and Right signals whereas Phono and TS only carry one signal each.

Radio Shack has converters which will allow you to plug a "red and white" connector in one end (either TS or Phono) and will provide a TRS output on the other which will plug into your PC's sound outputs. That way, the Red/White pair for "Side Speakers" (front L/R) can plug into the one grey jack and the Rear (rear L/R) can plug into the black-jack, etc.

If you are certain the new leads/RCA cables and the soldering work was done properly, and you've determined that the issue is from the turntable and not your mixer.

Then there are 2 other factors that could be causing this issue:

1) Bad Tonearm - look inside the tonearm, where the cartridge/headshell mounts. You'll see 4 prongs. Make sure those prongs are protruding and they all look even. They must also be a nice shiny brass color. If they are dull and/or black, try cleaning them out with an contact cleaner (CAIG Lab DE-OXIT works good) made for electronic components. If any of the prongs appear to be pressed in, try to see if you can get it to bounce back. Those prongs are spring loaded, and sometimes the springs get misaligned. Of course, they also tend to dislodge. If that's the case, then you will need to replace the tonearm altogether.

2) Faulty Cartridge / Headshell - Make sure your cartridge & headshell work properly. The easiest way to do this, is to swap your cartridge with a working one. If you have 2 turntables, just swap them out, and see if that changes anything.

I am going to say, it's more than likely a tonearm issue. There really isn't anything else, other than the Tonearm and RCA's which would cause sound issues. The Circuit board will not affect your sound, unless you burned it, or damaged it in some other fashion when replacing the RCA cables.

are you using the s video socket if so you will get black & white picture you need to use rca phono to rca phono or rca phono to scart lead to record to dvd burner. as I do alot of copying over myself i never use s-video socket due to cable wrongly wired for colour just black video signal. hope this works for you
